Ribbon Fiber Fusion Splicer
Ribbon fiber is a type of optical cable that consists of multiple optical fibers arranged in parallel and packaged into a flat ribbon structure. Its main advantages are high-density wiring and efficient installation. The following are the main uses of ribbon fiber and its application scenarios:
1. Communication network and data center
Backbone network and metropolitan area network: used for long-distance, high-capacity communication, such as telecommunications backbone network, multiple optical fibers can be deployed at one time to improve transmission efficiency.
Data center: supports high-speed connection between servers, saves space and simplifies wiring, especially suitable for cloud computing and large-scale data exchange scenarios.
2. Fiber to the home (FTTH)
High-density user areas: such as apartment buildings or commercial areas, ribbon fiber can quickly deploy multi-user connections, and cooperate with fiber splitters to achieve efficient access.

Space saving: flat structure is suitable for scenarios with limited pipeline space, but the flexibility is low and the bending radius needs to be carefully controlled.
